Date: 7/1/14
Location: Bolusice
Level: 1.4
River Leader: Me
Start and Finish time of trip: Shed for 9 back by half 2
People on the water: Me, Alan Herdman, Will Hurley, Ronan Cooney
Description: 'Quick' run down before study this afternoon. More lv4 practice for the lads and getting Ronan back out on the water!
Recommendations for future trips: Make sure people are aware of any particular goals for the day and any time restraints on the trip.
I also noticed the mobile coverage is so poor on the top half of the river (above somewhere near S-bend) that even text messages can't get through. Just something to note in case anything does ever go badly wrong on top section.

Date: 10/1/14
Location: Tuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
Level: 1.4-1.3 8-)
River Leader: Me, obviously. Those lads have no idea what they're doing...
Start and Finish time of trip: 1ish, back at the shed for around half 5-ish
People on the water: Me, Aran, Andrew and Barry
Description: Tuam was at an awesome level and had to be taken advantage of!
Recommendations for future trips: To be honest, I'm really starting to get sick of vigorously coaching the lads on a consistant basis with absolutely no improvement met whatsoever. Aran doesn't listen nor is he inclined to take my expert constructive criticism...at all, I'm pretty certain that Barry has a kayak-related learning disability and I just don't have the heart to say that Andrew needs to sell all of his gear and invest in something else that doesn't make him look like a potatoe on the water. Only for me being present today...

Also, blue hands are a sign to get off.

Location: Tuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
Level: 1.4
River Leader: Will
Start and Finish time of trip: left shed at half 1 on water by half 2, off at 4, back in shed by 5
People on the water: Me, ronan, ciaran, and jack silke
Description: freestyle
Recommendations for future trips: tuam at really good level, note tree down so the normal get on is not accessible, cross stream and get on there, also petrol station opening next week, but if you ask permisson to park they are fine with, they seem to realise that kayakers paddle here regularly and might provide alot of buisness. So basically be nice to the buisness owners and they will be nice back.

Date: 15/16 February 2014
Location: Annamoe (Trooperstown to Laragh)
Level: High one day and medium the next
River Leader: Higgins/Me
Start and Finish time of trip:
People on the water: Higgins, Me, Roisin, Ronan and Ffrench joined us for Sunday
Description: Varsities WW training! Well worth the effort going up for the weekend, gave us a chance to see the river on different levels and get to know the rapids a bit before next weekend.
Recommendations for future trips: Avoid the bar stopper above Jacksons. It causes an interesting scenario when it's high and everyone is surfing it... Just remember to go left or right!
Also Wicklow is class! There's loads of rivers and we really need to start going to that side of the country more. Definitely a place for a very good G3+ club weekend away, next years committee take note!
